Got a chance to visit and it is located on the 2nd floor from the shophouse of NUS Alumni House.
It was on Saturday noon but the restaurant only had 2 occupied tables. The restaurant was clean, neat and quite spacious with restroom on the same floor.
We took a seat and looked at the menu, there was a order slip on each table so you just filled in the slip and brought it to the cashier counter.
As the restaurant name, their speciality is in their noodle. We also tried their Nasi Tim Ayam for take away but sadly, it was more of the rice than the shredded chicken.
For the noodle, the normal noodle tasted better than the flat noodle which was a bit bland.
There are other interesting dishes that am looking forward to try with their normal springy noodle.
Overall, if you wish to know how is the typical Jakarta or Indonesian style chicken noodle, try it at Bakmi Jakarta. It's affordable in a nice simple restaurant setting with authentic taste to boot.
The cashier and drink counter
View to the entrance of left side and straight to restroom
Neat, spacious and bright with natural lighting
The Menu
The order slip
The Avocado Juice
It was a tad too sweet, too much chocolate milk
The Chicken Noodle with 'small' noodle and fried wanton set
It was definitely tastier than the flat noodle and the noodle was quite springy too
The fried wanton
I was a bit disappointed with this 'pangsit goring' as the skin should be thicker but the wanton filling itself was tasty. But, I don't mind having it on next trip
The Flat Chicken Noodle with Fried Wanton Set
Perhaps due to the flat noodle, it was too much making a bit bland
