It is an Italian restaurant and from the entrance, it looked impressive. From entrance, we saw the bar with dark wood finishing and chairs in brown leather and black finishing.
Turning to left, it was the dining area with hanging lights and trees in the centre. Along the window, half-circle sofa style dining area and on opposite, it has a private area with glass separator.
But, a sore eye to the whole decor was the fish tank, and I for one, oppose to having live seafood in any restaurant. Perhaps I felt it is a bit of cruelty there...
A bit unique approach was the movable blackboard featuring what were the special dishes of the day and the waitress would brought and explained it from table to table.
Most were Pizza Special and I didn't have appetite to the whole menu, somehow I felt a bit off when looking thru the menu. In the end, I ordered Seafood Pasta but it was served with mussels and oysters, which I had to pass on to my gal who loved it.
B said his pasta was too buttery and it certainly put him off.
Overall, service and atmosphere were great but the fish tank was really a sore sore eyes...Food wise, let's say I won't be back there for 2nd time
Our placemat
They put the bread on square container..quite cute
A nice design of private dining area
They do have a nice interior decor, the concept and furnishing creates cozy atmosphere
The special menu is written on 2-sided blackboard which the waiting staff push it around to new seated table
The pizza was pretty good
Seafood pasta, they did give generous oyster but not my seafood
The sore eye, the fish tank in front of the kitchen area, this was the disappointment
