We set out to have our brunch with Advanced Reservation made few weeks earlier; and the ground floor was already full with long queue formed on its pastry counter.
Were shown to 2nd floor, passing those heavy draperies, and baroque ornaments along the staircase and rooms. Seated next to faux fireplace, it such a cozy parisian atmosphere with daylights coming in from the window.
We took the brunch set each and it was presented so simple yet chic, it would made you very full though, we were thinking after that, perhaps we should'd ordered 1 brunch set for 2 pax and added with some macaroons...
Waiting staff were polite even though sometimes, a bit difficult to call as our section was a bit secluded from the bigger area but nevertheless, they showed good service attitude.
Went down to queue for buying our macarons and it was snaking for 2 long rounds, OMG..
I think since we weren't able to view all the confection offered as it was such a long table, all buyer (non regular) would be overwhelmed and took time to see and order, I wish they could do something about the system. The waiting staff who attended to us was a bit impatient.
Definitely a must stop destination to have your meal and pastries if you are in Paris, doesn't have to be Champs Elysees but what better than having it on this iconic avenue.
